MEFAI Autotrade v5 Intelligent Position Management Guide
We also kindly request that you read the section explaining why the Mefai Prime package is limited to 220 users.
MEFAI Autotrade v5 is not a simple bot that just executes signals. It is a multi layered decision making system designed to filter market noise, manage risk, and, most importantly, protect your profits. It is presented with many new features and the entire visual design has been revamped.

Part 1 Execution Modes and Signal Confirmation
The core innovation of v3 is the Candidate Signal system. The bot does not immediately act on every TradingView alert. Instead, it filters out false price movements based on your selected Execution Mode.
You can now choose between two distinct operational behaviors
Standard Mode
Behavior The classic, safe approach.
Logic The bot waits for the full signal confirmation period before executing trades.
Purpose Ideal for stable markets where avoiding false signals is the priority.
Aggressive Mode
Behavior Designed for speed and volatility.
Logic The bot cuts the signal confirmation waiting time by 50% and utilizes parallel orders to catch rapid price movements.
Purpose Perfect for scalping and fast moving markets where early entry is crucial.

The Candidate Process
Signal Received When a signal arrives, it is flagged as a Candidate and a countdown begins based on the table above.
Reverse Signal Protection If a waiting BUY candidate receives a sudden SELL signal during the countdown, the BUY is canceled immediately to prevent a loss.
Re Confirmation If a new signal of the same direction arrives during the countdown, the timer resets to ensure the trend strength is confirmed.
Part 2 Intelligent Position Management
Once a signal is confirmed, the bot evaluates your current portfolio state using four core rules
1. Status No Position Open
The bot opens a new position based on your defined risk settings (Fixed Amount or Percentage of Balance).
2. Status Same Direction Position Open
If you have an active BUY position and a new BUY signal is confirmed, the bot will not open a new trade. This prevents pyramiding and unnecessary risk exposure.
3. Status Opposite Direction Position Open (Reversal)
If you have an active BUY position and a confirmed SELL signal arrives, the bot accepts the trend change. It automatically closes the BUY position at market price and immediately opens the new SELL position.
4. Status Profitable Opposite Position Open (Hedge Mode)
If your active BUY position has already hit TP1 and a SELL signal arrives, the bot enters Hedge Mode. It opens the new SELL position while allowing the profitable BUY trade to continue running securely.
Part 3 Profit Protection and Maximization Strategies
We utilize advanced mechanisms to ensure you capture the maximum potential of a trend while securing guaranteed wins.
Smart Trailing Take Profit
This feature allows MEF-AI to ride the wave rather than exiting at a fixed price. It relies on two parameters
Activation % The minimum profit required to arm the trailing system.
Callback Rate % The percentage the price allows to drop from the peak before closing the trade.
Example Scenario (Long Position)
Entry Price $100
Activation 2.5%
Callback Rate 1%
Price hits $102.50 (+2.5%) -> Trailing Active
Price surges to $105.00 -> New Peak Established
Market retraces by 1% -> Stop price sets at $103.95
Price hits $103.95 -> Position Closed with 3.95% profit
Profit Lock (Fixed TP Logic)
If Trailing is not used, the system uses a tiered exit strategy.
Partial Take Profit When TP1 is reached, the bot sells a portion of the position to bank immediate cash.
SL Moved to Profit The Stop Loss for the remaining amount is moved to a positive price (e.g. Entry + 2%), guaranteeing a green trade even if the market reverses.
Part 4 MEF-AI Dynamic Adaptation
For traders who prefer automation over manual configuration, MEF-AI offers dynamic adjustments
AI Leverage
The bot ignores manual leverage settings and analyzes market risk to automatically select a safer leverage ratio (e.g. reducing 20x to 10x during high volatility).
Dynamic SL/TP (ATR Slingshot)
Instead of fixed percentages, the bot calculates targets based on the Average True Range (ATR). In choppy low volatility markets, it tightens targets to secure smaller, consistent wins. In trending markets, it expands targets to capture larger moves.
